The wynds and closes of Edinburgh’s old town hold a lot of secrets, some bad, some good… In the past centuries, you would never know what could be lurking round the corner, or behind a door.
We invite you to travel through time, visiting some of the closes of the Royal mile. The closes aren’t as safe as they are now – thanks to the 12 Closes Project – so keep your eyes peeled and your wits about you.”
